OfSummerville Drive, Pallaskenry. Peacefully at Children’s Hospital Crumlin, Dublin. Adored daughter of Denis and Deborah. Sadly missed by her sister Caitrin and her brothers Kieran and Conor. Also sadly missed by her grandparents Pat Bourke and Pat and Ann Kelly, aunts, uncles, cousins, niece, friends and neighbours.

May she rest in peace

Reposing at St Mary’s Church, Pallaskenry, on Sunday, October 6, from 5pm-7pm. Requiem Mass on Monday, October 7, at 12 noon with burial afterwards in Kildimo Cemetery. House strictly private please. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to St Joseph’s Ward and PICU1 in Children’s Hospital, Crumlin.

Peacefully, surrounded by his family at Cork University Hospital on October 3, 2024.

Beloved husband of Linda, dearest father of Robert, Kieran and George, adoring grandad to Clíodhna, and loving son of Tess and the late Paddy. George is sadly missed by his family, daughter-in-law Genevieve, brothers Kieran and Pat, sisters Rosemary, Therese and Helen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Griffin’s Funeral Home, John’s Gate, Limerick, V94 Y2W4 on Saturday, October 5, from 3pm to 6pm.

Funeral arriving at Our Lady of the Wells Church, Clonmoney, V95RX45 on Sunday, October 6 for requiem Mass at 1pm. Burial afterwards in Bunratty Cemetery.

Formerly CIE. Died suddenly October 2, 2024 in St Joseph’s, Nursing Home, Raheny with his daughter and grandaughters by his side. Predeceased by his daughter Elizabeth, brother Enda and sister Marjorie. Very sadly missed by his loving wife Breda, sons John and Michael, daughters Ann and Edel, daughter-in-law Lynda, sons-in-law Jason, Shay and Gerry, his cherished grandchildren Jack, Shane, Charlie, Emma, Glenn, Éabha, Paul, Christian and Beth, his brother’s Noel and Tony, sister Ellen, nieces, nephews, relatives friends and neighbours.

Michael will be reposing at Jenning's Funeral Home, Springdale Road, Raheny on Monday, October 7 from 3.00-5.00pm. Funeral Mass Tuesday at 10am at Our Lady Mother of Divine Grace Church, Raheny followed by cremation in Glasnevin at 1.30pm.

Brigid Stapleton (née Ryan) who died peacefully in Milford Hospice on October 4, 2024, surrounded by her loving family and under the exceptional care of the amazing hospice staff.

Cherished wife of the late Pat Stapleton (Best Barber in the World, 27 O’Connell Street). Predeceased by her parents Catherine and James Ryan, her brother Seamus and sister Mary Teresa. Sadly missed by her faithful dog Buzz and very deeply loved and missed by her heartbroken daughters Nicola and Natalie, grandchildren Christopher and Michael, son-in-law David, sisters Catherine, Noreen and Joan, brothers Dómhnall, John and Gerard, sisters in law, Pauline and Katrina, and brothers in law, Paul and John.

Brigid was a beautiful soul and a strong independent lady who dedicated her life to her family. Alongside her husband, Pat, she spent decades working in their unique barbershop in Limerick city. Both were true characters who added joy and laughter to the lives of all of their loyal customers, who hailed from all walks of life. Pat and Brigid are now happily together again, after five long years apart. Ní bheidh a leithéid arís ann.

The family would like to give their heartfelt thanks to Dr Roshni Kalachand, Dr Yaseen Yacoob, Dr Elijah Chaila, specialist epilepsy nurses Olivia and Elaine for their kindness, support and exceptional care of Brigid.

We would also like to thank the primary care community team nurse Anne O’Neill, OT Michelle Stronge, palliative care nurse Adi, carers Michelle and Angelina, Castleconnell Montpelier Cancer Support Group, relatives, friends, neighbours, and all those that supported us when we needed it most to ensure that we could bring Brigid home to spend quality time together in her final weeks.

Reposing at Cross's Funeral Home, Gerald Griffin Street, on Sunday, October 6, from 3.30pm to 5pm.

Funeral will arrive on Monday, at Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Milford, Castletroy, for funeral service at 11am, funeral afterwards to Ballysimon Cemetery.

House strictly private, please.
